Transformed from an army command control center, The Bunker is a 4,300sqm, state-of-the-art highly modernized, fully redundant communications network data center situated at the King Hussein Business Park in Amman Jordan. The military-grade facility is located 12m underground, protected by 2m thick concrete walls and equipped with 2ton doors at both of its entrances for added security. The disaster recovery center is built with blast walls, which are the only source of fresh air in and out of the bunker, that shut down automatically in case of any explosions in order to protect the facility and allow it to fully operate underground. These features make this site resistant to various forms of disasters such as fires, missiles earthquakes and much more.

COLOCATION VARIETY
Average data centers offer one big room that hosts cabinets that are usually shared amongst customers. The bunker, however, offers a variety of colocation options that allow for both dedicated and shared rooms. Colocation service eliminates the need to build and operate expensive data centers by providing customers with a secure, reliable and cost-effective service.
These rooms offer additional privacy as they are protected by their own doors, isolated in their own rooms and even have their own fire-fighting systems.
These rooms are protected by cabinet doors, access cards and security sensors.

COLD AISLE CONTAINMENT

A Cold Aisle Containment System (CACS) encloses the cold air in the aisle, allowing the rest of the data center to become a large hot-air return plenum. Also, it minimizes PUE & increases cooling efficiency.

IN-ROW COOLING

In-row cooling precisely cools and conditions air in close proximity and targets cooling the banks of server cabinets that fill the data center.

The Bunker is not just a data center, customers can rent dedicated or shared offices as well as ‘hot seats’ which can serve as business continuity units in cases of disasters or day to day activities related to their data center. These spaces span from 20 sq. mts. to 100 sq. mts. and can cater to various customer needs.
